In the remote Top End community of Beswick/Wugularr, Djilpin Arts invites you to immerse yourself in a bold cultural landscape of renewal and celebration. In the tradition of Djilpin’s Walking With Spirits, we invite you to join us, on country, in community, to celebrate the voices of Indigenous culture. To sing, dance and talk. To celebrate. To engage.

Settle in for a night of dance and music from 5pm

Friday 23th July from 3pm

Arrive from 3pm and set up your camp in our beautiful Cultural Precinct in the heart of Beswick community. Browse our museum and art gallery and settle in for dinner.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner June Oscar presents the next stage of Wiyi Yani U Thangani (Women’s Voices)

Weaving: 2 sessions
9.30-11.30 am and
3-5pm

The art and mind of weaving, local fibres become flowers, leave your creation in our regenerative collaborative bush bed of renewal. Presented by Djilpin weavers;
WORKSHOP $50 (only 20 places per session)

Bush medicine: 2 sessions
9.30-11.30 am and
3-5pm

The art of healing, local plants, balms and salves, presented by Banatjarl Wimuns Grup
WORKSHOP $50 (only 20 places per session)

Fellas, did we lose you? Book yourself (and the kids) on an exclusive guided tour of the famous, spectacular Beswick Falls, home of the Walking with Spirits festival. Swim, walk, play, soak up this ancient place with our local guides, while the women do their thing back at Beswick.

WATERFALL TOUR $100/$50 kids (4WD Transport provided):
