Michael Hohnen collaborating with Djilpin staffDjilpin Arts is a not for profit Aboriginal Corporation based in Beswick. With 100% Indigenous membership it works to maintain, develop and transmit traditional cultural knowledge through performance and visual arts. Income stays in the community and supports its development.

You will be supporting Aboriginal people in remote communities by choosing to buy authentic products direct from this community enterprise. We welcome visitors to Ghunmarn Culture Centre, to our Katherine Gallery and to Malkgulumbu for Walking With Spirits.

If you wish to purchase products you see on this website you can make an enquiry using this form.

Djilpin Arts also seeks financial contributions towards our work from individuals, philanthropic organisations and business.

Our partners

Caritas Australia

Caritas Australia’s commitment to an Indigenous Program within Australia stems from the recognition that poverty and injustice can be found everywhere — it is not just a matter of dividing the world into ‘developed’ and ‘developing’ countries.

Caritas Australia supports sustainable development projects — developed and implemented by, or in close collaboration with, Indigenous Australians, focusing on financial management, education, skills development and income generation. The projects reflect an Indigenous view of the world as well as support Indigenous advocacy issues.

Ian Thorpe’s Fountain for Youth

Ian Thorpe believes that all children should be given the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life. He understands his position and his ability to bring important issues to the forefront. Fountain for youth was established to focus on areas where he knows he can make an impact and he is passionate about projects that will improve health and education of children, having a positive impact on their lives.

Aboriginal people are absolutely committed to rebuilding their own communities and they need our assistance.

Fred Hollows Foundation

Fred Hollows Foundation

Celebrations and cultural events sustain the spirit of unity and culture that is vital for those living in isolated areas and provide reconciliation and learning opportunities for the wider community. The Foundation promotes these celebrations by providing support and training to the community leaders and event managers who organise them.
